*The default check box column in the “Groups & Files” outline view is for General/SourceCodeManagement (SCM). *Right-click on the “Groups & Files” header to get a shortcut to folder-groups in your project. *Those funny looking dashes in the scroller of an editor view - These dashes are to let you know where compiler warnings are located within the source file being edited. *Useful customization options are explained in http://developer.apple.com/documentation/General/DeveloperTools/Conceptual/General/CustomizingXcode/index.html
